The Beer Market

Ads, Installations, Logos, Print, Websites

In January 2015 Galway Bay Brewery approached us to come up with concepts for a new bar they were opening in Christchurch. The Beer Market’s USP is that it has no permanent beers on tap, each tap rotates so the bar can try out a single keg of a new beer whenever they want to. People read the blackboard and tend to order by number. Most beer is sold in small 33cl glasses because of the high strength of alcohol.

About the project

We spent the next few months creating artwork for the walls, designing a massive gold logo for the window, designed the blackboard system and illuminated beer numbers, created the uniform and supervised the painting and remodelling work. The location had been used for many different bars in the past but none had lasted long.
